The Nature of Things, 27 August - 21 September 2013
The Nature of Things continues a preoccupation with the construction of image through painted space - a space that hovers between the pictorial and the illusory. Of particular interest is the effect of light, both present and absent, in the built environment.

Relationships are established between perspectival and pictorial space, fluid and static fields, organic and structural formations. It all resembles familiar ground; brief encounters with the fleeting world around us, a mapping of everyday peripheral experiences through the isolation of a frozen moment.
